Seven Sisters is a platform where you can explore stories from Northeast India.

After many years of independence of India, many people in different parts of India still ask the question where is the Northeast? Many people in the Northeast who lives outside can relate to this.

It’s not surprising that the media don’t cover that much. WE WANT TO CHANGE THAT.

Northeast India is a land of surprises with green mountain ranges, the first sunlight of India, the largest river island in the world, the best tea and golden silk, Parshuram kund, Maha Raas, the largest habitat for the species Kaziranga National Park and many more. Northeast India is a colorful state of India.

With so many things to explore, we are set for an amazing Adventure.

Northeast India

Northeast completes India with eight states, seven sisters, and a brother.

The sisters’ names are Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and their brother Sikkim.

A geographically diverse region, with a rich history & culture, sets it apart from the rest of India.

Northeast India is known for its lush green forests, rolling hills, and abundant wildlife. It is home to a number of indigenous communities, each with its own distinct culture, traditions, and languages. Some of the major ethnic groups in the region include the Bodo, Khasi, Naga, Meitei, and Mizo.

The region has several national parks and wildlife sanctuaries, including Kaziranga National Park, Manas National Park, and Nameri National Park.
